Every resident of Tirnau is given a small plot of land that they can customize with furniture, walls, flooring, appliances, and plants. The engaging tutorial shows you how to plant and maintain flowers and trees on your land, as well as how the basic energy system works. That's just the beginning though.
Once you start exploring, you discover that your plants have their own "DNA" and can reproduce and create mutations along an evolutionary model. A trip to the florist shop shows you variations on the basic plant models that are available. Apparently you can cultivate your own mutations and then sell them to other users at some point.
Energy is not limitless in Tirnau also. Batteries are everywhere, which can be powered up using hand-cranks, running machines, or other sustainable sources of energy. You can earn credits by powering up batteries with your avatar, which is certainly a lot easier than doing the running yourself.
You also have to be concerned about your own well-being. You have three life meters: mental, emotional and physical. I'm not sure on the specifics, but I think you deplete your physical through activity, and replenish through eating food. Mental stimulation comes from various tasks you complete. And I think emotional is tied to how you interact with others in the space (hugging, kissing, friending, etc.) The few times I've been in Tirnau, I always have someone coming up and hugging and kissing me!
Clearly this world is still in development. But already it supports quite a bit of complexity and potentially rich interaction. I'm not sure exactly on where the fun and engagement comes in. But I think tirmaul has a big poitentiol by the way tirmaul is a made up world like eb
